Premium Wax

Description

Premium Wax are the most common type of thermal transfer ribbon. They have a very low resin content and are comprised mostly of wax. This gives them a low melting point, which makes the print less durable than other ribbons.
Premium Wax are usually printed on uncoated paper label stock, although they can be used on coated and synthetic as well. It is ideal for paper labels including retail, shipping and warehouse labels.

Applications of Premium Wax :

  • Ideal for printing on paper labels, including retail, shipping, and warehouse labels.

  • Best suited for uncoated paper label stock, but can also be used on coated and synthetic labels.

  • Suitable for applications where short-term labeling is sufficient due to their low durability.

  • Commonly used in inventory management, product labeling, and address/shipping labels.

  • Preferred for high-speed printing in thermal transfer printers because of their low melting point.
